Illustrations by A.V. Rybyakov
December 17, 2019
Today we added to this website a page about the Russian illustrator A.V. Rybyakov who made a series of illustrations for the novel The Master and Margarita.
The drawings have been published in the year 2000 in an edition of the novel by the publisher Стрелец [Strelets] or Sagittarius, about which I know little or nothing besides the ISBN number 5-88887-025-0.
For a long time these drawings could not be found on the internet, but in 2019 they were purchased by the Open Society Foundations of the Hungarian-American investor and philanthropist George Soros.
The Russian Marina Kalugina from Perm has made a scan of 16 drawings which you can view on this website.
