Film by Oldřich Daněk
May 20, 2013
For a long time, we've been thinking that some twelve films have been made based on The Master and Margarita.
Some days ago, however, we received an e-mail from our visitor Thomas Langkau from Kontstanz, Germany, who sent us a link to the film Pilát Pontský onoho dne made by the Czech director Oldřich Daněk in 1991.
Oldřich Daněk had been commissioned to make the TV-film Pilát Pontský, onoho dne, which could be translated as A Day Of The Life Of Pontius Pilate by the Czech television. The film tells the biblical story from The Master and Margarita.
