Calendar by Mikhail Stavsky
February 14, 2011
Mikhail Stavsky (° 1971) studied at the State Textile Academy in Ivanovo, and has since worked as an industrial designer, especialized in electro-nics and telecommunication products. He's quite successful and has won several awards.
To mark the 60th anniversary of the death of Mikhail Bulgakov in 2000, Stavsky designed a calendar with scenes from The Master and Margarita for his former employer, the telecommunications company Мурманэлек-тросвязь (Murmanelektrosvyaz). Given the nature of the business, it may not be surprising that the telephone plays a major role in many photos.
The photographs are made by Nikolay Zholnin, a photographer from Mur-mansk.
